Buzzing Around the World: Discovering Different Dimensions (Book 2, Chapter 2)

Max fell through a swirling portal into a world of animals. He saw different habitats all around him. A bear came close, growling!
“Over here!” a snake said from the rainforest habitat. Max flew there immediately.
“We just saved your life. Will you join our club?” a frog asked.
“No,“ Max said.
“Then get him!“ the frog yelled.
Max looked around, but he didn’t see his snake friend anywhere.
“Back here,“ Max could now hear his snake friend. Max circled back and lost the frog and his club just long enough to hide behind the trash can in the city habitat.
“Hello, snake friend,” Max said, smiling. His smile stopped as soon as he saw the three animals behind the snake. We was worried those animals were under the frog’s control.
“My name is Fury,” the snake yelled, upset that Max had called him “snake friend”.
“Sorry,” Max said. “Would you like me to fight those animals behind you?“ Max asked.
“NO!“ Fury yelled! Max was just starting to realize the way Fury talked was with an accent.
“Then who are they?” Max asked, doing his best attempt at the snake’s accent.
“Don’t make fun of my accent!” Fury yelled.
“Sorry,” Max said, but their conversation ended because the frog and his club found them.
“Run!” Max screamed.
Fury, Max and the three other friends ran until Max saw a portal. He told the four others to go through. He then threw a rock at a trash can so the lid would close, and all the frog’s animals thought he was now hiding inside. They were busy running to the trash can while Max went through the portal.
As he fell, he heard the Bubble Guppies theme song. Max knew it right from the start. He looked around and saw that he was on TV!
“What do you think?” a guppy asked Fury, as part of the TV show, showing him one t-shirt with bubbles and one t-shirt with fish on it.
“I think that one," Fury said, pointing to the bubble t-shirt, and clearly delighted to be on TV. Max saw a silhouette of a stuffed animal watching them. He studied the silhouette and saw that the stuffy was changing the channel!
“Get Fury and follow me!“ Max told the others. Soon, four animals followed Max to the back of the TV screen. He studied every cable and said, “When I count to three, jump to the purple cable. 1, 2, 3, jump!” Max yelled.
They jumped into the purple cable, and rode the wires to come out into a Nintendo Switch. Unfortunately, the silhouette now came over to play Mario.
Max, Fury, and their friends heard Mario telling them, “Follow what I do.”
They jumped and followed exactly what Mario did as the silhouette played the game. When the level was over, the animals kept running when the stuffy wasn’t playing. The stuff got so scared that he dropped the Switch and broke the screen, and Max and his team of animals walked out of the Switch and gave the stuffy a heart attack.
Servants came yelling, addressing the stuffy. “King!!!” A bunch of stuffy eyes stared at Max. In Max’s haste, he knocked loose a bunch of crystals that were displayed on golden posts all over the king’s bedroom. This made the servants extra mad.
The four other animals tried to collect the crystals to clean up the mess, but they tripped all over each other and all the crystals fell out of the king's open window. Max ran to the window and watched the crystals fall into a dungeon below. Now, the servants were really mad and got ready to kill Max and his friends.
“Wait! I know where to find your crystals!“ Max exclaimed.
“They’re too far away!“ a servant yelled.
“Kill him!“ another servant yelled.
“No!“ the king said to an army of servants. “He can take us to the crystals,“ the king continued.
They went to the basement and rode in cars – the 5 animals and the king rode in one car, while a group of servants in another. After 20 minutes (mostly driving in circles) they made it to the dungeon and walked inside.
”It’s pitch black in here,” the king said.
“I’ve got a flashlight, “ Max said, and used the flashlight to lead the group into the dungeon.
The five animals suddenly turned off the flashlight and quickly made a run for it. They found a door, opened it, and Max was surprised to realize Levi was there! Two seconds later, Margo, Racer, and Eduardo showed up.
Their hearts skipped a beat as they heard footsteps coming from the steps of the dungeon.
“Uh oh!“ they all said together.
