Buzzing Around the World (Part 5)

Now the family owns a dog and can take care of it. Racer protects the bee family from spiders! And they sleep peacefully at night because they snuggle Racer.

Amelia woke up to find her place destroyed but the soldiers and newborns were ok.

“Should we go find them?” one soldier asked.

“Go, and activate Code X,” Amelia said.

“Are you sure?” another soldier asked.

“Yes!” Amelia said.

“What's Code X?” the newborns asked, in unison.

“Something very deadly,” Amelia said…

Cleo and Bill have special abilities 

Cleo: she has a very smart brain.
Bill: he has a backpack full of gadgets. 

“Levi, it’s your turn to walk Racer!” Bill said.

“OK!” Levi said. He took Racer outside and saw the whole cloud forest in ruins! “Guys, come look!” Levi told the family. They came over and saw the ruins. `

“3, 2, 1 fire!” they heard from above.

The whole family looked up and saw a missile coming toward them. Cleo thought, “It’s coming in 10.32 seconds.” She raced around the house grabbing everything but one very important thing!

“Mom, Racer!” Levi yelled.

Bill grabbed the retractable leash from his backpack and pulled Racer away just in time. Racer kept whining. 

“Why is he doing that?” Bill asked.” He wants Max’s stuffy.” Levi told them

“What?: Cleo, Bill and Max said at the same time.

“I gave him your stuffy dog,” Levi told Max. There was an awkward silence.

“Fire in the hole!” a soldier yelled, breaking the silence.

“Everyone in the car!” Bill yelled. They started to move but the army followed them.

“Wait!” Cleo said in a whisper. “The army knows we’re trying to go to the car.” 

“Then where to?” Max asked.

“The hiking path!” Levi whispered.

“Go,” Bill whispered. The family ran onto the hiking path. 

30 minutes later four portals opened right in front of the bee family. Before anyone could say anything, a different sound came out of each. 

1: “Uwa Uwa”
2: “Neio Neio”
3: “Grimbo Grimbo”
4: “Okino Okino”

“What are these, Mommy?” Levi asked, scared.

“Portals. Do you think the army heard that?” Cleo asked. 

“Yes!'' Bill said, nervous. The army did hear it and was coming. Max heard buzzing getting closer.

“Hey everyone,” Max said. “They’re coming so our best option is to go through those portals.”

“OK, but who will take Racer?” Cleo asked. Cleo and Bill were discussing it while Max had an idea.

“Give Levi Racer so he isn’t scared!” he said, the army just around the corner. 

“OK!” Cleo said. 

“Now GO!” Bill said.

And the family was off…
