Buzzing Around the World (Part 4)

The kids of the bee family have special abilities. Max is really good at solving puzzles. Levi really cares about animals.

Max and Levi had been trying to break the cage. 

“Helloo,” they had heard behind them. 

“Whaaat… who are you?” Levi asked, scared.

“I’m Ameila,” Queen Bee said. 

“Who?” Max asked, not daring to turn around.

“THE QUEEN BEE!” Amelia yelled, annoyed that the kids wouldn’t turn around. “GET THEM!” Amelia yelled. 

Max saw the soldiers coming out. He was sure he saw Cleo’s face in a helmet. “Hey, hey bro?” Max wispered to Levi. Levi was fighting the soldiers when he heard Max. He stopped fighting to talk to his brother. 

“What’s up?” Levi asked.

“Mom and Dad have been hypnotized!” Max told Levi. Levi found a soldier had gotten a hold of him! It was Bill!

“Try to talk to them!” Max told Levi. Levi tried to talk to his dad, “Daddy, DADD!” but Bill didn’t respond. Max tried, “Mom, MOM!” Cleo didn’t either. 

“Find a way to get to the dog!” Max ordered Levi. 

“OK!” Levi said. 

Max made Cleo and Bill do a riddle so Levi could go to the puppy. Levi ran to the dog but Amelia surprised them from behind the dog. Levi had once taken a dog quiz and learned dogs react if you get one spot. It took a few tries but he hit the right spot. The queen bee went flying backwards into the hive. 

Levi started to break the cages and he found a cage that needed a key. He tried his stinger but it didn’t work! 

“RUN!” Max yelled to him through his watch. Levi did as he was told, and then Levi stopped.

Max had gotten mom and dad on his side and had made the whole army mad!

“Tell Levi!” Cleo had said. Now he was running straight into Levi!

“Why did you stop?” Max asked, but it was too late! Levi had all of the armor on, head-to-toe, and Amelia was behind him!

“Your son,” Amelia said to Cleo and Bill, “is now under my control!” “Get them!” Amelia yelled, and Levi did so! The fam (most of it) was knocked out and found themselves in a dungeon with Levi guarding the exit!

“What’s Levi’s weakness?” Cleo asked. 

“A hard riddle,” Bill said.

“On it,” Max said. “Hey you,” Max said to Levi.

“Yes,” Levi asked.

“Imagine you’re in a room with no doors, windows, or exit. How do you get out?”

Max watched Levi collapse from the question and suddenly Max saw a way out.

“Mom, Dad, through the air vent!” 

They flew into the vent and made it to the dog! Well, the hurt dog. “We’re too late!” Cleo yelled.

A voice came from inside the vent.

“I know the answer!” Max recognized his brother’s voice anywhere but the army had heared Cleo and came towards the fam!

“Buzz B Buz B!” came out of the air bent. Max had learned this call from summer camp. [It meant ”I’m coming!”]

“Move out of the way of the air vent!” Max called to Cleo and Bill. So they did.

Levi came up and out of the air vent, bumping into a nearby soldier! Cleo thought of a plan.

“Max and Levi, get the guards, and sweetheart, activate My Dog”!

Max gave Levi a math problem.

”100 divided by 2 equals what?”

“50,” Levi answered.

“Why?” Max said.

“We each get 50 soldiers!”

Meanwhile, Bill and Cleo found Amelia. “Go! I’m going to find the control room!” Cleo told Bill.

Cleo heard Bill starting to talk to Amelia. She found the control room quickly and waited till the right time. She listened closely and heard Amelia say “My dog? Oh I have never had a dog.” Cleo got the “my dog” order she needed and connected it to the soldiers’ headsets. She watched all of the soldiers rapidly break all of the traps. Cleo looked at the map on her watch and saw a science lab. She called the boys and said.” “Find the science room and create a way to heal Racer!”

“WHO?” the kids asked together?

“Racer, our new dog!” said Cleo.

Max and Levi found the science lab and started to make a potion. “Can you give me dog facts?” Max asked Levi. “Dogs have to have two walks a day, dogs need to be fed three times a day, dogs have a medicine to heal their body, dogs have a wa….” Levi answered but stoped because Max interrupted him. 

“#3!” 

Then Levi asked “What? Oh!”

Levi gave Max a medicine and he put it in the potion.

Bill had made a robot of Amilea and had made the soldiers think about the pup.

“Give me the dog!” the robot was programmed to say. The kids came to the dog and healed the dog. Cleo came down wearing the Queen’s crown!

“Take the kids outside of the hive” Cleo ordered Bill. Cleo came out wearing the soldier's armor! Then they flew to the cloud forest…
